Dr. Jenn has an in depth conversation with you about your virtual school setup, challenge areas, resources, and strategies that have worked (or not worked) thus far. This assessment will not only lay the groundwork for prevailing during emergency remote schooling, but also for the transition back to a face-to-face environment. Promoting staff well-being during this time is crucial, as staff are the only connections that students have to school.
Dr. Jenn will develop a preliminary plan to enhance your virtual teaching/learning/climate, then consult with you to determine what structures & tools will best support your staff, focusing on what worked in the classrooms before this crisis, and how to translate that to a virtual school/classroom. Ideally, a few staff members will participate in giving feedback to the plan to broaden the engagement process.
Once the plan is agreed upon, Dr. Jenn will meet (virtually) with individuals or with small groups of teachers/staff, guiding them how to implement, monitor and adjust the plan to ensure the best results – leading or facilitating online activities as appropriate. During a period of time following implementation, Dr. Jenn will check in with the staff and be available for any additional support.
